Monday on ABC’s “The View,” while discussing Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s comments in Pennsylvania last week saying, “You’ve got to go out, and you’ve got to get your friends, and you’ve got to get everybody you know, and you gotta watch the polling booths, because I hear too many stories about Pennsylvania, certain areas,” co-host Sunny Hostin said, “It reminds us of those roving voter intimidation squads that were utilized by the KKK after the Civil War.”

GOLDBERG: He also called on his supporters to monitor polling places for voter fraud in certain neighborhoods, saying, ‘You know what I’m talking about, get all of your friends and then drive to neighborhoods and watch because we don’t want to lose because, you know what I’m talking about.’ So to me, that’s—I thought voter intimidation was gone, but I keep forgetting we’re in 1950 with this clown.”
HOSTIN: And some people in the audience are saying ‘oh my God,’ right? Because it reminds us of those roving voter intimidation squads that were utilized by the KKK after the Civil War.
GOLDBERG: Yes. Who also support him by the way—
HOSTIN: Who also support him.
GOLDBERG: Not pointing fingers but —
BEHAR: When Hillary was talking about the deplorables, she’s talking about the KKK, the Neo Nazis, and the white supremacist. She is not talking about the working class guys who like him.
