Thursday on Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends,” former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, a supporter of GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump, questioned comments from Trump suggesting his opponent Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton would “sell” the Oval Office.

Gingrich said he doesn’t think Clinton will sell the Oval Office, but instead she will rent it.

“I don’t often disagree with Trump and I have great admiration,” Gingrich said. “But I think he said something just now that is an exaggeration. I don’t think Hillary would sell the Oval Office. I think she would rent it on a nightly basis. But I don’t think she’d sell it. I think it is a little bit much. First of all, it shows greater value over eight years renting it one night at a time than if she sold because one guy couldn’t pay enough.”
