During Thursday’s “Undisputed” on Fox Sports 1, co-host Shannon Sharpe called New York Mets outfielder Tim Tebow’s home run on the first pitch of his first at-bat in the instructional league “scripted,” claiming the pitch was “belt-high” because the Tim Tebow story is being “made into a movie.”
“This was a ploy, this was scripted. I’m sure in another probably six months, somebody’s writing a script as we speak and Tim Tebow is going to be made into a movie,” Sharpe declared.
He later added after arguing with co-host Skip Bayless, “You know it was scripted, I know it was scripted, everybody knows it was scripted.”
