Wednesday on Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends,” radio talker and 2012 Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain took aim at former Gov. Howard Dean (I-VT), who also a candidate for the 2004 Democratic presidential nomination, for his criticism of current GOP nominee Donald Trump.
Dean had posted a tweet that suggested Trump could be a “coke user.”
“How Can Mr. I-Have-a-Scream Criticize Somebody With a Sniffle?” Cain said. “And here’s the other thing that’s going on – they are so desperate that they throw stuff up on the wall to see what sticks. That’s just another thing. They do it all the time. So he threw it out there. He didn’t make a declarative statement. He just wants to plant some doubt in people’s minds. But here’s the thing – it’s not going to work. The basket of deplorables that Hillary talked about, they are getting stronger and stronger and stronger every time Hillary name-calls or every time some Hillary supporters try and call names. That tactic is not working.”
