On his Tuesday broadcast of Fox Sports Radio’s “Outkick the Coverage,” host Clay Travis reacted to Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James saying in an interview that he fears the day his son gets pulled over while driving because he may not come home, calling James’ worry “misguided.”
Travis noted that more unarmed white people have been shot and killed by police this year, while almost the same amount of people are killed by lightning than unarmed people are shot and killed by police.
“This is a serious issue to me because people have stopped believing real facts and they just want to respond emotionally to things that don’t happen very often,” Travis said.
He concluded, “[LeBron James], I think, legitimately believes that if his son gets pulled over, ‘I’m not that confident that things are going to go well, and my son is going to return home.’ I think LeBron James believes that. It’s fundamentally not true.”
