Thursday on Fox Business Network’s “Coast to Coast,” while discussing the riots in Charlotte, NC over the recent police shootings, Rainbow PUSH Coalition founder Jesse Jackson said when you “never get justice and fairness, you have these rebellions.”
Jackson said, “Let me put it this way. When people—Dr. King said riots are voices of unheard—and when you get that balance trade marked as insufficient funds and never get justice and fairness, you have these rebellions. And you look at rebellion, we need to address the source of the rebellion, not just acts.”
Equating the violent protests to banks, Jackson said, “If banks are overcharging people and that is looting, blue-collar looting, people trying to take your vote away… I look at banks looting on one hand … All this is part of the general climate.”
