On Friday’s broadcast of PBS’ “Washington Week,” host Gwen Ifill wondered whether Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s handling of her pneumonia diagnosis will have the consequence that “people will always wonder whether she’s fully healthy.”
Ifill said, “[W]hat are the consequences about health scares? For instance, we might not know whether Hillary Clinton was diagnosed with pneumonia last Friday unless we had seen that — the video — the — kind of the shaky video of her near-collapse. And I wonder if the truth there was her illness, and the consequence is that people will always wonder whether she’s fully healthy.”
