On Wednesday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Special Report,” columnist Charles Krauthammer argued that Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s ISIS plan ” is to ask for a plan when he gets into office. That’s not much of a plan.”

Krauthammer said, “[Y]ou get Trump saying that he has a plan for ISIS, and the plan is to ask for a plan when he gets into office. That’s not much of a plan. And considering that he would ask for the plan from the generals, whom he says know less about ISIS than he does. I think it’s more an exercise in rather remarkable humility on his part than it is in grand strategy.”

He added that no one has a plan to defeat ISIS, “particularly this administration.” Krauthammer continued that Obama’s “vision” is to squeeze ISIS out of Iraq and leave Syria to his successor.

Krauthammer concluded, “But the difference is, that Trump says he has one, he’ll do it quickly, and that he knows exactly what it is, but he didn’t want to tell the enemy. That didn’t sound like he’s hiding it from the enemy.”
