Economist and CNBC senior contributor Larry Kudlow spoke Sunday on New York AM 970’s “The Cats Roundtable” about his new book “JFK and the Reagan Revolution: A Secret History of American Prosperity.”
In the interview, Kudlow bashed Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton for tax hiking, saying that she and the rest of the Democrats need to remember former President John F. Kennedy’s tax-cutting legacy.
“[T]he Democratic party has written the JFK tax-cut legacy out of their history. Hillary’s out there trying to raise taxes on rich people, on rich corporations and capital gains and you know the whole story. Where’s the JFK remembrance? Now’s the time. The Republicans are still trying to cut taxes,” Kudlow told host John Catsimatidis.
“Hillary wants to raise it. They’ve forgotten about their greatest politician in the last 50 years — John F. Kennedy,” he continued. “Reagan got his supply-side from Kennedy. Kennedy is the guy who started it.”
