Cleveland Indians second baseman Jason Kipnis did not want the same fate as Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Jose Bautista when dealing with Texas Rangers second baseman Rougned Odor.
On Thursday, Odor slid into Kipnis while cleanly trying to break up a double play during the Indians’ 9-0 loss to the Rangers.
Kipnis got up from the slide and then slowly backed away from Odor, which made the Rangers dugout and Odor break out in laughter.
