This week on the campaign trial, Democratic vice-presidential nominee Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA) defended his running mate presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s on accusations of pay-to-play between then-Secretary Clinton’s State Department and her family’s organization the Clinton Foundation.
Kaine said, “Look I’m campaigning everywhere and I was campaigning for months before I got added to the ticket. Nobody is asking me about the foundation because people understand the work that the foundation was doing. They are asking about all kinds of issues but that’s not an issue and again it’s because of the good work the foundation does.”
