On Wednesday’s “Hannity” on the Fox News Channel, while appearing onstage with Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, National Border Patrol Council President Brandon Judd, whose organization has endorsed Trump, argued, “What they’re doing is they’re handcuffing Border Patrol agents, and they’re letting the illegal aliens dictate to us what our job is.”
Judd said, “What they’re doing is they’re handcuffing Border Patrol agents, and they’re letting the illegal aliens dictate to us what our job is. We have to end the catch-and-release program. You’ve got to get rid of that magic magnet that is bringing these people over here.” He later added that President Obama has “certainly” never listened to them.
Earlier, National ICE Council President Chris Crane, who has spoken at Trump’s rallies in the past, stated that ICE has 29,000 fewer officers than the New York City Police Department, and “We are set up for failure, and Congress knows it, and they will not do anything to help us.”
