Monday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” host Joe Scarborough continued his criticisms of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, this time for his criticisms of The New York Times.
According to Scarborough, such rhetoric was indicative of “a guy who knows he is going to lose.”
“That’s a guy who knows he is going to lose,” Scarborough said. “That’s a guy who knows he is going to lose. You start talking that way and, again, I don’t know that he’s ever wanted to win. It’s sad. It’s sad and pathetic what’s going on out there. If you are a Republican and would actually like to control one branch of government after this election … What is remarkable is that Donald Trump has, if he has actually fallen even below our expectations, there’s a reason why he’s been on his absolute worst behavior over his past month. Kicking around Gold Star mothers, talking about Second Amendment solutions to Supreme Court Justice picks. I could go on and on. This just doesn’t stop. This is a guy who is in self-destruct mode.”
