On the Sunday broadcast of “The Cats Roundtable” on New York AM 970, departing New York Police Department Commissioner Bill Bratton told host John Catsimatidis that the threat of terrorism will continue to stay with the city for some time.
“We will have a very seamless transition here in New York City, which is critically important with all the issues we’re still going to face going forward. We’re in good shape crime-wise in the city. Crime is continuing to go down. Disorder is under control. But the issue of terrorism is going to be with us for many years to come,” Bratton stated.
