Wednesday when asked by CNN’s Christiane Amanpour about Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s comments on Russia, former Obama administration CIA Director Leon Panetta said Trump was “truly not qualified” to be president.
Panetta said, “I just find those kinds of statements to be totally outrageous because you’ve got now a presidential candidate who is in fact asking the Russians to engage in American politics. And I just think that is beyond the pale. There are a lot of concerns that I have with his qualities of leadership or lack there of, And and I think that kind of statement only reflects that fact that he is truly not qualified to be president of the United States.”
