During MSNBC’s coverage of the Democratic National Convention on Tuesday, MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle questioned two Bernie Sanders delegates on the booing during the DNC’s invocation on day one of the convention.
After asking on whether the protests for Sanders would continue on day 2 of the convention, Ruhle asked if disrupting the opening prayer was “pretty disrespectful?”
Jason Brown, one of the delegates, responded that having the prayer have an endorsement for Clinton was disrespectful. After Ruhle countered that Clinton is the nominee, Brown said, “But technically not yet.” Ruhle then stated it was mathematically impossible for Sanders to get the nomination, and asked why they were still bothering with protesting.
Ruhle did conclude the interview by saying that she admired the delegates’ passion.
