Monday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort attacked Gov. John Kasich (R-OH) for skipping the Republican National Convention, which is being held in his home state of Ohio.
Manafort called Kasich’s decision “a big mistake” and said he was embarrassing Ohio.
“[Kasich] is making a big mistake,” Manafort said. “He’s making a big mistake. He’s looking at something that’s not going to happen. He’s hurting his state. He’s embarrassing his state, frankly. But most of the Republicans who are not coming – most of the Republicans who aren’t coming are part of the past and people who are part of the future of the Republican Party are frankly going to be here and participating in the program.
