Pollster John McLaughlin predicted Sunday on New York AM 970’s “The Cats Roundtable” that presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump would be elected president because 70 percent of Americans believe the country is on the wrong track.
“Seventy percent of all Americans think the country’s on the wrong track,” he told host John Catsimatidis. “We’ve been asking since last September, ‘Do you want to change and move away from the policies of Barack Obama, or do you want to continue the policies of Barack Obama?’ Last time we asked on our website 56-34 they want to change. Everywhere we’re asking that question, the majority of Americans want change because they feel insecure about their personal security and their economic security.”
