On Sunday’s airing of “The Cats Roundtable” on New York’s AM 970, Rep. Dan Donavan (R-NY) talked about last week’s meeting between the House Republicans and presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump, calling it “a very uplifting meeting.”
“It was a very uplifting meeting. He was very positive, talked about unifying the party, talked about the importance of this election, particularly, John because the next president may nominate two, three or maybe even up to four justices for the Unites States Supreme Court,” Donovan told host John Catsimatidis.
“I have to tell you, he got a — received a wonderful reception,” he added. “[E]ven those who had supported other candidates seemed to rally around Mr. Trump last week when we met with him.”
