Joy Reid: Isn’t It ‘Kind of Crazy’ to Brandish ‘Terrifying-Looking Weapons?’

MSNBC’s “AM Joy” host Joy Reid asked Saturday if it was “kind of crazy” for people who are open carrying to be “brandishing really terrifying-looking weapons.”

“So, if somebody sees you, or Mark Hughes walking around with an AR-15 slung over their shoulder in Walmart, or in the store, or in a restaurant, they, too, are afraid, and there’s a possibility that they could call 911, and what happened to [John] Crawford III when he just had a toy gun in Walmart, could happen. Isn’t this whole idea of brandishing really terrifying-looking weapons in public kind of crazy?” Reid asked.
