WaPo’s Capehart: Lynch Knows Meeting With Bill Clinton Was ‘a Disaster of Epic Proportions’

The Washington Post’s Jonathan Capehart said Tuesday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” that Attorney General Loretta Lynch knows that her impromptu meeting with former President Bill Clinton, whose wife, presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, is currently under FBI investigation, was “a disaster of epic proportions.”

“[Lynch is] trying to do two things,” Capehart explained. “One, she’s trying to explain how this process works because she knows this was and remains a disaster of epic proportions when it comes to the independence and the integrity of the Justice Department. She wants everyone to understand how this process is working.”
