In an interview that aired on Tuesday’s broadcast of Fox News Channel’s “The O’Reilly Factor,” presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump reacted to FBI director James Comey’s decision not to recommend criminal charges for Trump’s Democratic counterpart, presumptive party nominee Hillary Clinton for her use of a private email server while secretary of state.
Trump called it a “miscarriage of justice” and called it “shocking.”
“I will tell you that I believe that what happened over the last four or five days has been a total miscarriage in justice and I really believe what happened is shocking and it is certainly shocking to legal scholars and I watch them and talk to them all the time,” he said. “They can’t believe what happened. Whether its General Petraeus or others who suffered grave consequences for what they did Bill, I think it’s a great miscarriage of justice.”
