While speaking Sunday on New York AM 970 radio show “The Cats Roundtable,” Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) weighed in on presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump’s plan to build a wall at the U.S.-Mexican border.
Although Flake admitted there were problems at the border, the senator does not think Trump’s wall is the answer.
“To think that we’d have a wall like Donald Trump is talking about across our 225-mile border with Mexico from California to Texas isn’t very feasible, nor advisable. But, we do need better security, and in some case, that means better barriers,” Flake told host John Catsimatidis.
