Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-NY) spoke Saturday on MSNBC about the AR-15 just days before the House of Represenatives is supposed to vote on legislation regarding certain types of firearms.
According to Maloney, the AR-15 is a “military-type gun” that is “not used to hunt or for self-defense.”
She then added that AR-15s are “used to quickly kill many people.”
