During an interview on MSNBC on Wednesday, Representative House Democratic Caucus Vice Chair Joe Crowley (D-NY) wondered about the due process rights of a young person who’s dancing in a nightclub,” and has their head “blown off by an automatic weapon.”
Crowley said that if someone is on the no-fly list by mistake and is denied the ability to buy a gun “they should go to court and plead their case, and if they can get off the list, all the more power to them.”
Earlier, he addressed due process concerns by wondering about the due process for “a young person who’s dancing in a nightclub, when they come in, and their heads are blown off by an automatic weapon.”
