Friday on a special edition of Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” ret. U.S. Army Lt. Col. Ralph Peters, a network contributor, offered his thoughts on solving the threat of radical Islam to the country domestically and said part of that involves honing in on outlets that voice anti-America sentiments in the name of Islam.
“We’re certainly not paying sufficient attention to any of the problems we’ve cited,” Peters said. “And you cited the bans in our government and the military, using terms such as jihad, Islamist terror. That is censorship, that is Orwellian double speak and that actually hampers our efforts. Nut I’ll tell you, we just need to get serious, Sean. What we absolutely must do is stop focusing only on individuals. We have to do that.
“But Mao Zedong said the guerrilla swims in the sea of the people, while the terrorist hides in the swamp of the people,” he continued. “We need to go after not just individuals, we need to crack down on the hate mosques, on the mullahs and Imams who preach hatred, sedition, anti-Semitism, etc. And if they’re not citizens get them out. And we absolutely, absolutely right now, need to crack down on jihadi porn, on these websites and chat rooms that we 100 percent know that they are inspiring Americans to kill Americans.
