ESPN’s Pablo Torre: ‘Are We Ever Going to Reckon With the Fact’ Babe Ruth Set MLB Records Before Black People Could Play?

On ESPN 2’s Thursday broadcast of “Around the Horn,” guest host Pablo Torre asked if we would ever “reckon with the fact” that Babe Ruth set MLB records before the league allowed black people to play.

“Are we ever going to reckon with the fact that Babe Ruth like didn’t play against black people?” Torre asked. “Those are still records. It’s crazy.”
