Monday in an interview that aired on Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends,” Sen. Bill Nelson (D-FL) said it was time for Congress to declared on war on ISIS in the wake of the Orlando shooting that resulted in the deaths of 50 people and injuries of 53.
Nelson pointed to plans the Pentagon already has in place.
“The Congress ought to declare war against ISIS and that is a neglect to the Congress,” Nelson said. “I can tell you the Pentagon has plenty, plenty, plenty plans. They’re going into Raqqa and they’re going into Mosul. You’ll see those wrapped up over the next couple of months.”
