Tom Morello: 'Racism and Privilege Are the Cornerstones of American Judicial System'

Rap-rock group Prophets of Rage guitarist Tom Morello reacted Friday on HBO’s “Real Time” to Stanford University swimmer Brock Turner’s sentencing of six months in county jail after being convicted of rape, saying that the “cornerstones” of the American judicial system are “racism and privilege.”

“Racism and privilege are cornerstones of the American judicial system, so you can be mad at that judge, but you should be madder at the system,” Morello told host Bill Maher.
