Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) touted his passing of legislation on counter-terror funding in opposition to President Barack Obama on Sunday’s New York AM 970 radio show “The Cats Roundtable.”
“There was a hue and cry myself and others when the administration – who knows who it was, it might have been some bureaucrat, but it got through OMB – cut our UASI funding by $330,000,000 and New York gets a huge percentage of that,” Schumer told host John Catsimatidis.
He later added, “How would you cut anti-terrorism funding after Paris and after Brussels?”
