Sean Spicer: The Left Not Condemning Violent Protests ‘Rather Disgusting and Discouraging’

Republican National Committee Chief Strategist Sean Spicer reacted Wednesday on Fox Business Network’s “Mornings with Maria” to the violent anti-Trump protesters in New Mexico.

Spicer called the reports of violence “troubling,” saying the fact that left leaders not condemning the acts “rather disgusting and discouraging.”

“It’s one thing to protest, I think that all of us can agree that our first amendment right is something that we all cherish that everybody has an opportunity to express themselves and assemble. When you’re seeing folks on the left destroy public property, assault police officers, destroy public property… that’s crossing the line. And I think it’s interesting the left, that champions this free speech, hasn’t come out and and condemned these acts of public violence, both against property and people of public service, it’s rather disgusting and discouraging, what’s happening,” Spicer said.
