On Thursday’s “CNN Newsroom,” consumer advocate and former presidential candidate Ralph Nader argued that Democratic presidential candidate Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) shouldn’t drop out, in part because, “There could be a scandal with Hillary Clinton, those transcripts and closed-door meetings with the big bankers and other big corporations could be released.”
Nader said, “[W]hy should Bernie Sanders drop out? There could be a scandal with Hillary Clinton, those transcripts and closed-door meetings with the big bankers and other big corporations could be released. The superdelegates are not bound. He made a good point, Bernie, when he said he wants to go all the way to the convention so everyone — ending up in California, every voter can have a right to vote for their candidate of their choice.”
