On this weekend’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday,” Democratic National Committee chairwoman Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) said the FBI’s investigation into the handling of classified materiel on a private unsecured email sever during Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton’s tenure as secretary of state was “ludicrous.”
Wasserman Schultz said, “‘It is ludicrous to keep raising the question whether this plays out to an unfortunate end. Hillary Clinton has released 55,000 pages of e-mails, has provided the most transparency of probably any previous presidential candidate in terms of the conversations that she has had as secretary of state, as a public official. It is completely available for perusal by the press and she was doing something and using private e-mail in the same way that previous secretaries of state have done.”
