Oregon Man Tipped Prostitute With Exotic Monkey

A Eugene, OR man robbed his own pet store to tip a prostitute, but what the man used is not the tip you would expect.

According to a First Coast News report, a Eugene police report shows that Zany Zoo pet store had Girl Scout cookie money, a laptop and a Galago primate named “Gooey” all stolen in March.

In March, police found an out-of-town prostitute in possession of Gooey at a local hotel.

Police later arrested Nathan Allen McClain, owner of Zany Zoo, because he reportedly walked out of a porn shop next door to the police department under the influence of methamphetamine.

After questioning, police discovered McClain was the suspect in the Zany Zoo robbery.

McClain robbed his own store, paid the prostitute for her services with the Girl Scout money and then gave her Gooey the primate as a tip, police said.

The report states McClain was arrested for DUII and prostitution, and taken to jail. Gooey, who is a native of Africa, is said to have been taken to an animal sanctuary.
