Thursday on Fox News Channel’s “The O’Reilly Factor,” host Bill O’Reilly used his opening “Talking Points Memo” segment monologue to warn Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump of his treatment from the media should it be Trump and Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton in a head-to-head match-up this fall.
“Make no mistake, Trump knows the media will support Hillary Clinton, and will denigrate him at every turn, sometimes savagely,” O’Reilly said.
According to O’Reilly, the media will look down on Trump, which he said is something the GOP hopeful should be prepared for.
“In the end, Donald Trump will not, will not get a fair shake from the press,” O’Reilly said. “As the campaign against Hillary Clinton unfolds, things will become brutal. And the press will try to rattle Mr. Trump. They see him as personally unworthy, beneath them and destructive to their ideology. Mr. Trump needs to be preparing him for the onslaught.”
