The Ben Hill County Sheriff’s Office in Fitzgerald, GA has charged seven people in connection to the January home invasion that left Georgia lottery winner Craigory Burch Jr. dead, per a WALB report.
WALB’s report states that the charges for 22-year-old Rosalyn Swain, 24-year-old Keyana Dyous, 21-year-old Anjavell Johnson, 27-year-old Earnest Holcombe, 19-year-old Dabrentise Overstreet, 28-year-old Nathaniel Baker and 17-year-old Wayan Jordan include: malice murder, felony murder, two counts of aggravated assault, home invasion, violation of Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act, two counts, two counts of armed robbery, four counts of possession of firearm during commission of a felony, and possession of firearm by a convicted felon.
Burch, 20, won a $434,272 Fantasy 5 jackpot in November 2015, and quickly started receiving threats.
His girlfriend, Jasmine Hendricks, said masked men blew open the door to their home with a shotgun and demanded the winnings. They then shot and killed Burch in front of Hendricks and their children after realizing his wallet was not in his pants. They then fled the scene without taking any money.
