Saturday on MSNBC, the president for the National Organization for Women Terry O’Neill said that keeping women from having abortions is “preventing” them “from getting essential healthcare.”
“Abortion care is on the spectrum of women’s reproductive healthcare that we need,” O’Neill explained. “One in three women will have an abortion by the age of 45. So, when you are talking about throwing up a web of restrictions and regulations and indeed criminal laws, like the fetal homicide laws, to stop women from having abortions, you’re really doing two things.
