Chicago Cubs star outfielder Jason Heyward was the buzz of Sunday’s Cubs-Mariners spring training game in Mesa, AZ.
In the top of the third inning, a group of bees began to attack Heyward, and others in attendance, causing a 10 minute delay.
Heyward tried swatting the bees with his glove, running away from them and he even scaled the outfield wall to try to elude the pests.
When Heyward came up to bat in the bottom of the third, he used his swatter on the baseball, smacking it over the right field fence for a two-run homer.
