TB Rays 3B Evan Longoria: One Common Denominator Between Cuba and U.S. Is Baseball

In a press conference Monday, Tampa Bay Rays star third baseman Evan Longoria discussed his team’s upcoming game in Havana against the Cuban national team, saying the common denominator between the United States and Cuba is the love of baseball.

“I think the one common denominator between the two countries is baseball, right now. I think it’s the most common of all the things, and the love of baseball here is very evident just from the time we stepped foot on the ground,” Longoria said.
