JERUSALEM – The Palestinian Authority’s official TV channel broadcast an Islamic cleric claiming that if fish fight among themselves, the Jews are behind it. He added, “As long as the Jews are causing devastating corruption, humanity will never live in comfort,” Palestinian Media Watch reported.
“Humanity will never live in comfort as long as the Jews are causing devastating corruption throughout the land. Humanity will never live in peace or fortune or tranquility as long as they are corrupting the land,” the TV preacher said.
“An old man told me: If a fish in the sea fights with another fish, I am sure the Jews are behind it. As Allah says: ‘Every time they kindled the fire of war [against you], Allah extinguished it.’ They strive throughout the land [causing] corruption, and Allah does not like corrupters,” he added.
The show, which was aired on PA TV on Saturday, is the latest in a series of broadcasts that refer to Jews as “devils” and Israel as “Satan’s project.”
A televised speech by PA President Mahmoud Abbas’ advisor, Mahmoud Al-Habbash, included claims that Jews represented “evil,” “falsehood,” “the devils,” and “the satans” throughout history. Islam and the Palestinians, on the other hand, constitute “the good” and “Allah’s project.”
In January, Breitbart Jerusalem reported that PA TV re-aired a “documentary” explaining how Europe created Israel in order to “get rid of” the corrupt, scheming Jews who were the harbingers of tragedy on the continent.
