Sunday, radio host John Catsimatidis interviewed former United Nations Ambassador Bill Richardson on his New York City show AM 970 “The Cats Roundtable.”
The former top Clinton aide the United States and Russia “work with each other.”
He also added that the United States and Russia “have not worked with each other in the last five years.”
“We need cooperation in Syria,” Richardson continued. “We need Russia to stop meddling in the Ukraine. But we also need Russia when it comes to arms control agreements. We need them to keep Iran contained. We need them for energy, for eliminating nuclear weapons. It’s a shame we’re not getting along. They’re not friends, but they’re not enemies.”
