Defense Secretary Ash Carter and his wife Stephanie led members of the US military in “The 12 Days of Christmas” in a video released by the Department of Defense’s Twitter account on Friday.
Carter and his wife begin by singing the opening line of the song, which is then performed by soldiers (one of which gives an extremely spirited rendition of the “five golden rings” line) in various locations when the video pans to them.
