Watch: McCain, Franken Face Off in Lead Up to Cardinals-Vikings Game

On Thursday’s lead into the Arizona Cardinals versus Minnesota Vikings game on the NFL Network, Sens. Al Franken (D-MN) and John McCain (R-AZ) sparred over their home state teams’ match-up.

The two took jabs at each other and even got a little personal with their jabs.

In the bit, McCain told Franken that “maybe” he will understand the virtues of being a Republican [over] a liberal commie socialist and that he was “mad” the Cardinals defense is a “wall” that cannot be penetrated.

“A wall, huh,” responded Franken. “Donald Trump is not building his wall and the Arizona Cardinals are not building their wall.”
