Monday on NBC’s “Today,” Secretary of State John Kerry doubled down on the White House’s position that the United States is winning the war against ISIS.
Kerry downplayed ISIS to host Savannah Guthrie, but acknowledged there is more to do in the fight against ISIS.
“I believe ISIS is going to be defeated,” Kerry said. “ISIS is not 10-feet tall. The pace has to be picked up and more needs to be done and everybody understands that.”
Kerry went on to urge people not to panic.
“People need to not panic,” he added. There is a strategy in place, growing by the day.’
