Watch: Shep Smith Rips CIA Operator for Saying Afghan Hospital Bombing May Have Been Warranted

Thursday on Fox News Channel’s “Shepard Smith Reports,” host Shepard Smith castigated former CIA operations officer Joshua Katz, for suggesting that a bombing last month hitting an Afghan hospital might have been warranted since support was being provided to the Taliban.

Partial transcript as follows:

KATZ: We have Doctors Without Borders who in all cases are providing material support to terrorists. They have knowingly, and admitted–

SMITH: Excuse me?

KATZ: Doctors Without Borders here, Shep, has said that they have provided support to the Taliban.

SMITH: Oh hang on… What doctors do is treat the wounded in war zones around the world since time began. Are you suggesting here that they should have not treated memebrs of the Taliban — the ‘terrorists’ here as you call them, when they were bleeding and at their doorstep, they should have said, ‘no go away!’?

KATZ: This is the dilemma we are in–

SMITH: You have just taken a United States military airstrike on hospital workers and turned it around on the hospital workers for treating the injured and wounded, and that’s disgusting
