Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson stated that “the Black Lives Matter movement is airing a point of view that deserves to be heard” in an interview with USA Today‘s Capital Download released on Monday.
Johnson said [relevant exchange begins around 4:15] “I think that the Black Lives Matter movement is airing a point of view that deserves to be heard, and a frustration that deserves to be heard. And there are lots of different ways to present a point of view, and obviously, this movement is one of them. But, they’re representing a point of view that I think deserves to be heard.”
