The Cleveland Browns have not had much success over the last 16 seasons, having seen 22 different quarterbacks take snaps for them since drafting Tim Couch first overall in the 1999 NFL Draft.
Browns fan Tony Timoteo, with the help of his wife, decided to honor his favorite team’s quarterback luck this Halloween with tombstones for every Browns quarterback to have started a game since Couch was drafted.
The list includes: Tim Couch, Derek Anderson, Colt McCoy, Brandon Weeden, Brian Hoyer, Brady Quinn, Kelly Holcomb, Jeff Garcia, Jason Campbell, Seneca Wallace, Jake Delhomme, Johnny Manziel, Ken Dorsey, Trent Dilfer, Ty Detmer, Connor Shaw, Charlie Frye, Thad Lewis, Bruce Gradkowski, Spergon Wynn, Doug Pederson and both McCown brothers, Luke and Josh, with only Hoyer posting a winning record as a Browns starter (10-6).
Neighbors have also offered up their yards to Timoteo if he needs more space for the cemetery, but he hopes not to need more space any time soon.
“We have had offers from both neighbors to subcontract their yards out if we run out of space,” Timoteo told the local TV news station. “God, I hope not in the near future.”
