Arrest warrants for child endangerment have been filed against two women after a two-year-old boy was hit up to 22 times with a backscratcher at a Cleveland, OH daycare.
Surveillance video caught a daycare worker hitting the little boy on Wednesday. After striking the boy with the backscratcher, video shows the same worker push him to the ground and hit him again while another day care worker sat and watched. Around 10 minutes later, the surveillance video shows the same daycare worker hit the toddler, drag him and then slam him down on a changing table.
Melissa Tate, the one seen hitting the child, has been terminated while the one who watched, Tonya James, faces charges for child endangerment for failing to report the abuse done by Tate.
The little boy suffered welts and bruises on his legs and was taken to the hospital Wednesday night.
