On Wednesday’s “Garbage Time” on Fox Sports1, host Katie Nolan reacted to Dallas Cowboys defensive end and convicted domestic abuser Greg Hardy’s interview about coming back after serving a four-game suspension for being found guilty of choking his former girlfriend, slamming her on a couch covered with guns and threatening to kill her.
In the interview Wednesday, Hardy told reporters that he hopes to come back “guns blazing” and he wished out-loud that the sister of Tom Brady’s wife would be at the game this week between the Cowboys and the New England Patriots.
Nolan called Greg Hardy a “garbage human” and proceeded to rip into the NFL, the Cowboys’ public relations and the sports media for enabling Hardy and plastering his controversial statements on their sites while also showing they care about women for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
“Greg Hardy had to pretend to respect women for 12 minutes, just 12 minutes, and he couldn’t even do that. And what’s worse, is no one stopped him. They let him go on about girlfriends and guns and posted video of it on DallasCowboys.com because who [expletive] cares? Women won’t see it,” stated Nolan.
“What matters to you? Seriously, what matters to you? Because expecting a garbage human who has been punished for being garbage, to come back from his suspension and not immediately resume being garbage is the asking bare minimum.”
