Things got a little testy in the Nationals dugout during Sunday’s series finale between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Washington Nationals.
Just a day removed from being eliminated from playoff contention, after being dubbed by many as the favorite to represent the National League in the World Series, Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper and relief pitcher Jonathan Papelbon got into a heated shouting match after it appears Harper did not hustle enough for Papelbon’s liking.
Papelbon then shoved Harper up against the wall in the dugout before teammates had to separate them.
